Claudia Lindim
Dr. Claudia Lindim is a surface water quality modeller with more than 10 years of experience. She has developed and applied GIS based, finite difference, finite volumes and finite elements models (one, two and three dimensional) to rivers, lakes, reservoirs, salt marshes, oceans and sediments worldwide. Her work focus on providing scientific insight and management guidance on contamination by inorganic (eutrophication and nutrients, heavy metals) and organic substances. She has worked in multiple EU projects and projects with national authorities and regulatory bodies. Her current research interests include global biogeochemical cycles, climate change impacts in waterbodies and fate & transport of organic contaminants. In SOLUTIONS she is developing modelling tools and simulating fate & transport of emerging contaminants and their bioaccumulation in European river basins.
